甲骨文连连看, also known as 甲骨迷情, is a puzzle game that falls under the category of connect-the-dots. The game provides players with an opportunity to learn about ancient Chinese characters, specifically a portion of the oracle bone script, while enjoying a challenging gameplay experience.
In this game, players are required to find and select matching oracle bone characters on the game board. Once selected, the program checks if there is a clear path between the selected characters with no more than two turns. If the conditions are met, the selected characters will move towards each other along the path and disappear, earning the player points.
The longer the path created, the more points the player earns. In the event that no more matches can be made, the layout of the oracle bone characters will be shuffled and rearranged, ensuring that there are always solvable puzzles for players to enjoy.
To maximize their scores, players can utilize special spells. Spell One automatically connects and eliminates a pair of oracle bone characters. Spell Two shuffles the positions of all the characters on the board, providing a fresh challenge. Spell Three allows players to reverse time and extend the duration of the current game.
At the end of each level, any remaining time will be converted into coins that players can use to purchase spells. The game offers two modes to choose from: the Clearance Mode, which consists of six different levels, each containing 24 sub-levels, and the Endless Mode, which allows players to continuously progress through levels until the time runs out. Scores achieved in the Endless Mode can be uploaded to the server, allowing players to compete and compare their scores with others on the leaderboard.
